After a winter in which vulnerable families   struggled following cuts to vital services,  the approaching summer offers little prospect of relief.

Leicester city council is proposing to reduce the number of family hostel units it provides by 59 (from 129 to 70), thereby saving itself £280,000. But with no clear indication of how the expected increase in homelessness will be provided for, families on the breadline should be worried…..Continue at:
