Having a core belief on values is a good thing but to manage different opinions and behavior is important. I feel it is good to have a open mind and accept or respect opposing views.

Yes it can become absolutely rich with potential and understanding and I increasingly find that I encompass opposing views because there are parts of each which differ from the parts being opposed! And probably for a number of additional reasons as well! For instance as a total believer in God I increasingly find atheism to be attractive and interesting where it is based on a genuine attempt to establish truth compared to those whose belief in God delivers a killer blow to their interest in searching for truth . I could, but wont, go on!
